My time at Hogarth has been spent learning the complex asset tracking system Planet (CSS) created for deliverables for MARCOM at Apple Computer.  Overseeing that the Mechanical Artists received all the relevant information needed to complete over 900 deliverables for the September 2018 launch. I have assimilated well with the team of Mechanical Artists at Hogarth and the client Marcom and their Project Managers, Print Managers and Executives whom I encountered on a daily basis.

  • As the Print Content Project Manager I participated in project kickoffs, content meetings, reviews and other project based meetings.

First California Press is a Commercial Printing company serving the San Francisco Bay Area. During my tenure I shepherded the printing company thru the ups and downs of the Print Industry while increasing profit 5% of each sale yearly as CEO.

  • As CEO I generated $1.2 million in annual offset printing sales from 2007 through 2017, despite the turbulent industry adjustments we increased profit 5% of each sale yearly.
  • Enhanced the client experience by organizing all stages of production from the initial contact of clients through the printing production to the final shipment of each product.
  • I managed a diverse office staff consisting of a production head, bookkeeper, 2 pre-press technicians and office assistants. When at our busiest we had 15 employees under my supervision.

Transformed the traditional analog & DOS computer office setup to a modern, web based sales team with customer care and retention as our main focal point.

  • Worked closely with Owner as a sales team generating over $2.5 million in print sales.
  • Established multiple web based order/fulfillment sites for clients.

Implemented the transition from a 7 employee camera and film based printing production department to a 3 employee state of the art Computer to Plate Pre-Media department.

  • By transitioning the department to a CTP workflow we reduced overall costs of the department by 60%.
  • PreMedia duties were to oversee color separation, image manipulation and color proofing. Preflight files to ensure electronic files represent what was estimated. Planned job, created layout for press base on job ticket.
